One should be somewhat prepared for all threats, natural, or man-made. Your basic survival under different or tough conditions may depend on the correct analysis and actions you take in response to such events. Your very survival and the safety of loved ones may also depend on which decisions you have been trained and were prepared to make, possibly years in advance of the event.

Be prepared to make the right decisions. Obtain the knowledge, wisdom, attitude and tools that help to make you more confident before, during, and after tough weather or any other emergency event.

1/09/2009 News Story: Fox 6 News reports that some scientists are concerned about the possibility of major solar flares on the sun in 2012 which may cause a major disruption of electrical systems on Earth.

We should try to be prepared not because of the probablility that bad weather, accidents, terrorist attacks, or even galactic events just might happen, or that the risks are increasing. We should all be somewhat prepared because such events are possible in the first place, and do or may occur.
